A Limited-Edition Trove of 9 Premium Sarawak 100% Pure Essential Oils
KITKOJI Pte. Ltd. (KITKOJI) in partnership with Sarawak Biodiversity Council (SBC)
has launched Trove Borneo, a premium line of nine pure essential oils derived from
plants found in the 130 million years-old Borneo Rainforest.
The Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) exchange took place between Dato Dr Yeo
Tiong Chia, Chief Executive Officer of Sarawak Biodiversity Centre, and Ken Koh,
Chief Executive Officer of KITKOJI. The exchange was witnessed by Yang Berbahagia
Dato Sri Dr. Muhammad Abdullah bin Haji Zaidel, Deputy State Secretary Sarawak
(Economic Planning and Development) and Chairman of the Sarawak Biodiversity

Razak, Chief Executive Officer of BioVerde Technologies Sdn Bhd (BVT).
During the event, YBhg Dato Sri Dr. Muhammad Abdullah highlighted that Trove
Borneo represents Sarawak’s long-term vision for sustainable and inclusive
development. He emphasised that the initiative goes beyond a product launch as it
connects Sarawak’s natural heritage with global aspirations for wellness, ethical
sourcing, and community-driven development. He added that the brand reflects
Sarawak’s Post COVID-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030, particularly its focus
on innovation, economic resilience, social equity, and environmental stewardship.
Trove Borneo will debut with a limited-edition release of only 500 sets, each priced at
introductory SGD250 and available exclusively at www.TroveBorneo.com. Each set
features nine 100% pure essential oils: LitSara® fruit (Litsea cubeba), AdenoSara®
(Adenosma nelsonioides), Serai makan (Cymbopogon citratus), Kunyit (Curcuma
longa), Murus tabu (Lindera lucida), Calamansi (Citrus microcarpa), Kemuyang merah

cubeba).
The plants are sustainably cultivated and harvested, and the oils distilled by thirteen
indigenous communities whose stewardship and traditional knowledge shape the
identity and authenticity of the collection. The communities include the Lun Bawang
communities of Long Telingan and Long Kerebangan (Lawas), and Long Rusu (Ba’
Kelalan), the Kelabit communities of Pa’ Lungan and Pa’ Ukat (Bario), the Bidayuh

the Kenyah community of Uma Kelep (Belaga), and the Kayan community of Long
Bedian (Baram).
Dato Dr. Yeo Tiong Chia shared that the Trove Borneo brand reflects years of
Traditional Knowledge Documentation, close collaboration with indigenous
communities across Sarawak, and dedicated research.
